Meredith Westfall resides in Dorchester County with her husband, CJ, and two step-sons, Jaxson and Reagan. She has dedicated her career to public education, serving students and families throughout the Lowcountry while remaining actively involved in school and community activities.
EducationMeredith earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Rhodes College in 2017 before completing South Carolina's alternative certification pathway to become a licensed educator. Her academic background in science, combined with years of classroom experience, has shaped her approach to education and student learning.
ProfessionalMeredith began her teaching career at Colleton County Middle School before joining Dorchester School District Two, where she taught at Alston Middle School. She later joined East Edisto Middle School as a member of its inaugural faculty, helping establish the school's culture and build the seventh-grade science program during its opening year.
Along the way she created engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students and helped create and coach the East Edisto Pep Squad. Beyond the classroom, she has served on Dorchester School District Two's Recruitment and Retention Task Force since its inception, after being appointed by the Superintendent.
